LOOPED is part of the Hamburg-Takt construction programme, which includes the barrier-free upgrading of bus stops. Through the methodology of serial construction, LOOPED is also linked politically with the \u201cZukunft-Tiefbau\u201d (Future Civil Engineering) strategy document of the Hamburg Senate as a long-term development project.
